At Steelwool.uk we not only think about the finished product but all of the small steps you take as crafters to get there.  The equipment and accessories you are going to need, the storage to keep them in one place while you are working on the project and then the finishing touches to make it unique to you and your loved ones.

Every-one needs to start somewhere, and with this in mind my patterns clearly state the level of experience needed to be able to complete the project.  This information is clearly laid out in the product description area along with the information regarding everything you are going to need to achieve your project.

Pattern or kit? :

Do I choose the pattern only or kit?  This question can only really be answered by yourself, however, if you are an experienced knitter or crocheter you probably have most of the size hooks/needles required and a small (well lets be honest, a small mountain of yarn) around the house!  It depends if you have colours and shades you want in the thickness you want!  If you do or only need to but one or two balls then the pattern only option is probably best for you, however, if you are a beginner or want to be absolutely sure that you have everything then the kit is the best option for you as it will contain everything you will need and as we are registered with King Cole, who are a very well known yarn supplier here in the UK, all of our kits are produced using their materials so will last and can easily be laundered safely.
